Why use HGCT03 Glass Cutter 178mm?
HGCT03 Glass Cutter
HGCT03 Glass Cutter 178mm is a tool used to make a shallow score in one surface of a piece of glass (normally a flat one) that is to be broken in two pieces, for example to fit a window. The scoring makes a split in the surface of the glass which encourages the glass to break along the score.

While a glass cutter is the most practical and efficient tool you can use to cut a mirror, you can also use any other device sharp enough to score the surface of glass. Once you’ve found an object, the process of actually cutting the mirror will be the same regardless of what you’ve chosen to cut with.
If you don’t have access to a glass cutter, you can break a glass bottle or jar cleanly using a piece of string and a little heat. Wrap the string around the jar several times before tying it off. Slip the string off of the jar and soak it in acetone or nail polish remover.
